Porec is one of the most well known and the most modern holiday resorts in Croatia. It's a town of more then 70 sports activities with 170 tennis courts located near to the sea in the nearby well-equipped tourist resorts of the Porec Riviera. The ancient town on the peninsula was built by the Romans in the 2nd c., with a regular system of streets still maintained today.
