The piazza, which is covered by glass, is the centre point of the 'Hafendorf' ('harbour village'), the 'Arche Noah' kids' club offers year round daily childcare. Cosy city, 30 km north from Neuruppin, 40 km south from Neustrelitz, 85 km north from Berlin. In the resort: supermarket, shops, butchers, bakers, bank, restaurant. Access: railway station in the resort. For arrivals by plane: airport Berlin (TXL) 90 km. More than 50 lakes, large inter-connecting areas of woodland and hidden places with history are waiting to be discovered. Watersports' fans will find a chain of lakes here which connect directly to the Mecklenburg lakes plateau and to the Havel waters. There are numerous boats for hire for a variety of uses. The Rheinsberg castle is particularly worth seeing which has an imposing mirrored hall.
