The Piano Rosso farm lies in the upper Mugello Valley in the hills that gently lead up to the Apennines. It consists of three apartments each with private entrance. They have been carefully furnished in rustic style and all have private outdoor areas and use of the pool with thermic cover - shared with a further apartment - and which enjoys a superb view. The property is about 65 km from Florence and 3 km from Marradi, a lively little town with everything you might need and with a railway service to Florence. You can buy local produce direct from the farm and also reserve lunch and dinner. During the month of October there is the chestnut fair, an international event, where you can take part in the gathering of the chestnuts and try typical local products made from chestnuts. Working farm 'Azienda Agricola Piano Rosso'. For shared use: swimming pool (6 x 12 m, 01.05.-25.09.). Table tennis, garden furniture, barbecue, children's playground. Not far from it there is the famous gotic cathedral of S. Reparata. Quiet mountain village with 3'600 inhabitants, in the north-eastern part of the region, in a valley, in a secluded position, 62 km north-east from Firenze, 36 km south-west from Faenza.
