Sutuated at 2000 m, has mountains lift open all year around, thanks to the glacier and the summer ski. Ski resort situated within the the borough of Valtournenche at the foot of the Matterhorn (Cervino) 4478 m. Cervinia is now one of the most well known ski resort in Europe. Other sports available are: swimming, skating, gliding and paragliding.
